Day 3

Ok, so I’ve been reading another person’s blog these last couple of days, it’s about the Lemonade Diet also http://www.lifetrainingonline.com/blog/lemonade-diet-day-3.htm and here I read that the Salt-Water Flush really works, so I think I’m gonna try it tomorrow morning, cause I haven’t been able to cleanse my body so well yet, and it’s starting to both bother and worry me. Plus, today I’ll find out if I can get a stronger Laxative than what I’m taking , which is a Spearmint Tea.

It’s ok now to stay without eating solids, it’s just not telling the people in my office that I am fasting, what is really annoying me. I haven’t told anyone other than my husband that I’m doing this, since I’m always obsessed with my weight and my looks, people hardly ever take me seriously and keep trying to convince me not to do Diets.

I do feel cold all the time, like my body temperature’s much lower than usual, but I wear a blanket at work and when I get home I just get in bed and turn on an electric blanket I have. I also get tired when I walk too fast uphill (and I didn’t before), but I can sleep more calmly cause I don’t have my stomach aches at night as I used to. 

Yesterday I almost quit my diet though! My husband was feeling hungry and he convinced me to grab some hamburguers from a Retaurant near my house… I almost said yes for a second, but then I realized it wasn’t worth it! I’ve made it through 2 straight days, and I know I can make it through the week. Plus today is like I’m half way there! (Since I only want to fast for 5 days instead of 10). Though I was thinking to continue with it for the 10 days its usually for. I’m still trying to stay well now that I’m only at the 3rd day… so I’ll see if I can really last that long!

Day 2

Ok… so I’m in my second day doing the fast and I’m really ok. I’m not hungry and I’m starting to like the lemonade (well, not so much, but I’m getting there). Yesterday I was suppossed to go to the gym for one last time, but I over slept! Yup, not that I’m so surprised I did, cause I really disliked going to that gym in particular, but I think I was so tired yesterday from work. I slept from 7pm till 7am this morning. I’m feeling reallygood today actually :D Maybe I have to get even more sleep than what I ususally do… which is about 8 hours a day most times.

Well, on the diet, I decided I’m not gonna let my unconscious trick me this time, cause you know how it is when you decide you’re gonna do one thing and the next day you just make up many excuses not to do it… or if you’re in a diet your mind tells you it’s so hard and that you can’t do it, and then there you are procrastinating again, and you break the diet, and promise yourself you’ll start it on monday (yeah, right..). So this time, I decided that’s not gonna happen. It’s as simple as that. I won’t allow myself to perish. I do constantly think about food and eating (like at work I keep finding company names that involve food, or some packages I process contain food items!). But I’m not really feeling like I need to give up, I know I won’t give up this time.

So, yesterday, I didn’t really drink the Tea at night, cause I was sleeping.. but I did this morning. I hope it works anyways! And I finally brought more of the lemonade to work today, yesterday I only drank about 2 cups of the mix… today I packed 4 cups, which equal to 1 litre, so I hope I do drink a bit more today.

I don’t feel like I’m losing energy or anything like that, I guess cause the maple syrup does contain some glucose and it helps to stay active (mmm… maybe I’ll use a little less in my next mixes… since that could prevent me from losing any weight) We’ll see.

Day 1

Ok, so I’ve started the Diet today, I’m gonna do it for 5 days (I’d like to do it for more time, but we’ll see if I can skip some of the lunches we usually have planned for the week-end). I’m in it to 1)Lose some weight… I’m actually weighing 54 Kg right now. I’m only 1m57, so that’s pretty heavy. plus I’m used to weight 46 Kg, so I’m almost 10 kilos overweight!! and well, I actually want to be more fit. I’ve been recently working out at a gym, I’m doing Spinning, which is pretty cool, but not at the gym that I’m going to! This gym really really sucks, cause the bikes are all wrong and our trainer is a big fat man who doesn’t guide us at all. So I haven’t really lost any weight since I begun, but I did sort of firm some of my muscles. :)

I’m drinking the lemonade right now and it’s pretty strange.. it has a nice but weird flavour.. nice cause it has the maple syrup but weird because of the pepper. I’m actually just using hot red pepper today cause I couldn’t find Cayenne Pepper just yet, and it gives it a strange spice.. plus I’m not used to drinking lemonade! hahaha, it’s just cause I don’t like sour stuff too much. 

You may think then, why am I doing this Diet in particular? Well..

2) To Cleanse.. I read this is really good for my body, and I’m constantly having stomach ache, so I figured out that this may just go ahead and solve all of my problems…

I’m also planning to go Jogging every second day, starting  next week, so I’m more active.. and cause I’m not so happy going to the gym anymore. Plus I have all of The Firm videos, well, not ALL but about 5, and I’ve the weighs, so I’m gonna do the work-outs everyday as well. REALLY.

I don’t want to be like saying one thing and not doing anything at all, so I’m gonna write here every day, so I can document what I’ve been doing. And since I don’t really expect anyone to ready it, I’m not gonna have a reason to lie saying that I did things that I really didn’t. :D

The Lemonade Diet

 

The Lemonade Diet is basically a fast that was developed by Stanley Burroughs, and it’s also called The Master Cleanse

The fast is pretty easy to follow, the recipe is as follows:

For 10 days, drink:

2 Tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon or lime juice (approx. 1 lemon),
2 Tablespoons organic Grade B maple syrup,
1/10 Teaspoon or more cayenne pepper (hot red pepper), and
1 Cup purified or spring water, NOT fluoridated water.

You can’t really eat anything solid, so staying away from solid food is the real challenge. Other than that, you must drink a Laxative Tea every night, to help your metabolism. I also read that every morning you need to drink a saline mix, called “Salt-Water Flush”. This is basically:

2 teaspoons of uniodized sea salt,
1/4 cup of  luke-warm water

Another option to the Salt-Water Flush is to take the Laxative Tea in the morning as well.

Well then Hello World! I’m just starting this Blog to keep my mind distracted from eating… hahaha, I know. It’s gonna be a little hard, cause today I’m starting a diet but it’s more like fasting. I’ll explain more about it in my next post.
