The Lemonade Diet is basically a fast that was developed by Stanley Burroughs, and it’s also called The Master Cleanse

The fast is pretty easy to follow, the recipe is as follows:

For 10 days, drink:

2 Tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon or lime juice (approx. 1 lemon),
2 Tablespoons organic Grade B maple syrup,
1/10 Teaspoon or more cayenne pepper (hot red pepper), and
1 Cup purified or spring water, NOT fluoridated water.

You can’t really eat anything solid, so staying away from solid food is the real challenge. Other than that, you must drink a Laxative Tea every night, to help your metabolism. I also read that every morning you need to drink a saline mix, called “Salt-Water Flush”. This is basically:

2 teaspoons of uniodized sea salt,
1/4 cup of  luke-warm water

Another option to the Salt-Water Flush is to take the Laxative Tea in the morning as well.
